Initiatives

CIMP is playing a leading role in contributing to the all round development of the nation. Therefore, research areas, which have high contextual relevance and development implications for Bihar and India, in the next two decades, have been identified for starting CIMP’s research centres. The institute organizes conferences, workshops and seminars and has initiated international level research into Micro-Finance & Rural Marketing to start with.

• DFID (UK) sponsored Survey on Vendors in Bihar and Developing Strategies for Bihar Vending Policy.
• UNICEF sponsored Assessment Training of Block Health Managers (BHMs) in Bihar.
• World Bank sponsored Bihar Government project JEEVIKA.
• Government of India & Government of Bihar co-sponsored Survey of Tourism Enterprises at Rajgir, Nalanda and Bodhgaya.
• Sarva Siksha Abhiyan project Evaluation of Computer-Aided Learning Centres.
