Faculty Development Programme (FDP)
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Course Outcome (CO) and Programme Outcome (PO) and Programme Educational Objectives (PEO) (CO-PO-PEO) of the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, (CIMP) aims at the professional development of faculty members of educational institutions in India. This training will help participants understanding the mapping of course outcome and programme outcome, preparing course attainment, preparing rubric, preparing programme level direct and indirect attainment. CIMP is pleased to announce its 3rd FDP on “CO-PO-PEO”, which will be offered during May 5 to 9, 2025.
An FDP on CO-PO-PEO is crucial in aligning educational practices with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. NEP emphasizes a holistic, multidisciplinary approach, requiring faculty to design curricula that promote critical thinking, skill development, and employability. Through this FDP, educators can better understand how to formulate and assess CO-PO-PEO, ensuring the integration of NEP’s vision into academic programs. This alignment enhances learning outcomes, fosters innovation, and helps institutions meet national standards in producing competent, socially responsible graduates.
Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has been established as an autonomous institution, with active support from the Government of Bihar in the year 2008. The Honourable CM Shri. Nitish Kumar happens to be the Chairman of the institute. It is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The flagship programme of the institute of accredited by NBA and approved by AIU. CIMP is in Management (Rank Band: 101-125) as per NIRF-2024.
The Institute conducts the following major programmes:
- Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
- Two-Year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGDM)
- Two-Year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGDM-IEV)
- Executive programme in management for Government officials (EXPM)
- Management Development programme (MDP)

- Introduction to outcome-based education and its relevance
- Mapping course outcomes and programme outcomes
- Preparing course attainment level
- Preparing students rubric
- Preparing programme level direct and indirect attainment level
Certificate of participation in the FDP on “Course Outcome and Programme Outcome and Programme Educational Objective” to be awarded to the participant.

- Last date for submission of application: April 30, 2025
- FDP fees: INR 1000/- (plus applicable GST)
- FDP Fees per candidate: INR 1000 (plus applicable GST)
