Saarang, the Cultural Committee, manages all the cultural events at CIMP. It brings in refreshing breeze to the otherwise rigorous life of management students by providing them with opportunities to unleash their cultural acumen. For Saarang, "Innovation is a routine and creativity a habit". Organizing major events like inter college festivals provides hands-on event management experience to future managers. The committee has successfully organized concerts by eminent musicians in association with SPICMACAY.
Spardha is concerned with all sports and games in the campus. “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!” Hence, Spardha’s motto is to keep its future managers fit and active through various indoor and outdoor sporting events. This committee recently organised the annual sports event ATIDA. The committee is also involved in the maintenance of sports infrastructure.
The Marketing Club is a platform for experiential learning and fun-filled activities. It seeks to promote initiative, creativity, competitive spirit, and collaboration through competitions and events where participants can showcase their marketing acumen. The Club’s activities may include business/marketing/brand quiz, new product development, brand identity design, advertising/IMC campaign development, retail mela, etc.
The Aryavarta- HR Club at CIMP serves as a vibrant student-led platform dedicated to nurturing professional excellence, ethical leadership, and contemporary competence in Human Resource Management. It aims to create an engaging environment where students can continuously learn, build functional HR skills, and apply classroom concepts to practical situations. Through activities such as case discussions, simulations, guest sessions with HR practitioners, and interactive events, the club helps students strengthen their understanding of core HR domains including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, CSR, employee engagement, DE & I, and labour relations. The club also plays an important role in bridging the academia-industry gap by connecting students with HR leaders, alumni, and corporate experts, while simultaneously fostering teamwork, initiative, and leadership among members. Overall, the HR Club at CIMP prepares students to become confident, industry-ready, and strategically oriented HR professionals.
"Charity begins at home". Social Marketing Club (SMC) is an innovative initiative of Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna for development of Bihar. It proposes to inculcate a sense of social responsibility in its students and to make a difference to the society in the form of initiatives that culminate in social development. Social Marketing Concept is frequently used for bringing about changes in socially significant attitudes and behaviour in diverse areas as use of seat belts in cars, Drug abuse, Smoking, Organ donation, Waste disposal, Traffic sense etc. The initiative is generally not taken anywhere in any management institute in India.
A student-driven IT Club at CIMP will focus on building technical and managerial skills through workshops on emerging technologies like AI, data analytics, and digital tools. The Extra C Club promotes crosswords as an effective learning tool among students and encourages them to participate in inter-college competitions. The club also organizes various soft-skills development events to enhance students’ communication and critical-thinking abilities. In addition, it conducts engaging activities such as puzzle hunts and treasure hunts to foster creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
